The officer then moved to social media disclosures.
Visa Officer: Have you disclosed all your social media accounts?
Applicant: I shared a printed note mentioning that my Twitter account was not listed in the DS-160 form.
The officer reviewed the document, accepted the sheet, and instructed the applicant to make all social media accounts public. A 221g slip was issued, requesting additional information to be sent via email to the provided address.
Post Interview Update
The applicant completed the email submission by 9:00 AM on the same day. The overall process at the consulate was efficient, with entry at 7:45 AM and exit by 8:45 AM.
On 29th April at around 12:00 PM, the visa status was updated to approved.
Additional Tips
There are multiple locker facilities available near the consulate where applicants can store their mobile phones. The applicant used a locker located across the road for a fee of INR 200.
Be cautious of individuals outside the consulate offering mobile storage services at inflated prices ranging from INR 1000 to INR 2000. It is advisable to use verified locker services instead.
